Have you ever performed on stage or given a speech?

When I was a younger prettier man I used to DJ on stage for weddings and get together put on by a variety of groups. There was also a time in Junior High that I played instruments in a band for a number of different groups.

For a lot of people, performing is life. What I mean by that is that there once was an author who said the world is my stage and my life is a performance. Are we who we truly are when we are performing? Or are we someone else behind the performance, behind the masks and music that enrich our lives?

Yes I have given speeches in my past, although I would think most of my time that has gone into the stage hasn’t necessarily been my performances but rather elevating the performance of others in my roles as sound technician, ensuring the performance on stage is captured by microphones so that others can enjoy the rich sounds made by the instruments of the performers.
