The task given was to read/listen to the book A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J Maas.

At this point in time the book has been listened to fully and partially several times (the partially several times). The story is one in which the answer to the question, the unasked question as well as the answer to the riddle, is Love.

At this time of year it is a profoundly personal answer to all of my unasked questions about the why I do what I do and what I want to do. Love is the only answer. Love for Mistress. Love for my parents, and Love for my nieces and nephews.

Being able to be present and express my love for them all was a gracious task given me by Mistress as well as the book task. The book reinforced the reason for my trip and while I’d rather have a naughty holiday, being present for my family at this time is in fact an expression of Love for them all.

Thank you Mistress for sending me and for your book task. Looking forward to being back near you but I’ll enjoy the time you gave me to share with the family.
