How do you manage screen time for yourself?
Good evening friends.
I normally don’t really manage my screen time. I do what I want to do using the screen as a tool most often from writing this for you and myself, I try to be mindful of those around me, if I can participate in an activity with those around me I normally do… no not herd like but because I have already established a rapport with them or we have a shared purpose in being together in a group so I put my screen in a safe space.
Ultimately I rely on my screen overmuch but the alternative is using the old style checks, for my health. I much prefer to use a screen to keep track.
How would I manage it? Well I typically don’t always use my phone but I also have multiple screens and mostly they are to do stuff. Coding or gaming, playing artwork or movies.
Is it excessive? From a personal perspective not really, I still don’t have a 52 inch monitor or a projector mounted on my wall so as far as excessive I could go more. Each screen actually has a purpose and I could add another two screens to my display wall. Limiting the size of screens is how I have managed my screen time. Smaller screens more time bigger screens less time.
I really don’t know if managing it is the answer, rather maybe taking a few hours off it is the best way. Only as needed for a time.
