Good morning friends.
If I were not able to sleep I’d be busy working on this blog or a new website or app. I may even just work out instead of sending time on my laptop.
If I have a spare 8 hours to workout that gives me the ability to spend 8 hours walking and of if I calculate my average speed it means that I could travel approximately 4 x 8 = 32 kilometres walked, not run or jogged…walked.
I know that likely makes me a fast walker, and I’ll admit that I’ve been training myself to walk calmly fast and unhurriedly but still fast for years. Sometimes I even bring it up to 5-6kph but that’s only if I am late or rushing to get somewhere.

Ultimately, if I didn’t need sleep I think I’d go nuts. Sleep is the body’s reset and recharge cycle. Without it my mind would deteriorate, unless I did something to keep myself sane.
In the past for me this meant filling up sketch pads as I drew pictures to engage my creativity center. Stuff to keep sane is a real need in some jobs, security jobs usually.
