Love is a fickle thing, and I know that we all experience it throughout our lives for various people and things. I was reading and this song came on, it made me think about all of my partners through the years and struck me as significantly important to me in the moment.
The song says either love me now or lose me later, something that has seemed like a repeat process as people come and go through my life. Have a listen and make your own mind up, is it significant to you?
No I’m not moping about how life is going, just exploring myself as I go through life and learn to love one after another without worrying about how it will work out because I know that I am still me and have my life still to explore with or without you.

I don’t agree, I think that speaks to lust or excitement or wishful thinking. That’s not love however.
I think love has a slow burn, it takes care of itself and others. It can be me, my children or my partner but it’s not fickle.
Everything else is an illusion.

Ahh love that you have a good point. My thoughts are that I used fickle as a description because everything I find is a choice, I can choose to love someone else but that love can be lost or gained depending upon what happens to cause a draw to or away from the other person.
It’s either there or it’s not, and all of the shades of colour in between as situations change and are added into the equation.
